Everything you’re asking for in this life
So what exactly is the Big E? Well, it’s kind of like the Big O, only better because it’s everywhere all the time. It’s ENERGY!
In their new book, The Big E: Everything is Energy, Unleashing the Power of
Everyday Wisdom, authors Jarrad Hewett and Dee Wallace have cracked the energy code, inviting you to use The Big E to get more of what you want out of life.
When you look at everything as just a part of The Big E, you begin to see how amazingly connected everything truly is – and how your energy (how you create you!) creates your life.
So why is this book better than the rest?
The genius of The Big E examines all the “truths” and idioms we’ve been handed down and grown up with over time. Turns out, a lot of these “truths” are actually sabotaging the creation of what we’re consciously asking for.

Connect with Your Success – Part 2
YOU can release YOUR inner critic. Once you recognize this choice, you have created your opportunity for change. It might have always been there, but for whatever reasons, you were not able to see it up until now. Create your own opportunity for change.
Take back control by releasing the inner critic. Although it feels as if the inner critic is part of you, it is not. Having awareness of this is the first step toward separating yourself from the critical voice.
Decide where to place your focus. Release the negative in order to experience the positive. Consider your goals for being a winner, notice the activities you are doing well. Become aware of your strengths. Choose the next step to move you closer to your vision, excelling toward peak performance.
Creating goals to be the prophecy of what you will one day become
Instead of allowing your memories to impact your commitment to your goal, shift your focus. You are capable of prophesying your goals for business success.
1. Identify your goal, your BIG vision and your dream.
2. Create your mind movie. Envision yourself living, acting, being, doing and feeling once you reached your big goal. How would you be different?
3. Create an affirmation of where you want to be in the present tense, as if it has already happened i.e. I am a confident, success million dollar entrepreneur.
4. Write a goal card. Make it as descriptive as possible and in the present tense, as if it has already happened. When you read it, you want to be able to feel the emotion of the moment. Read it each morning before getting out of bed and before going to sleep at night. This is when you are closest to your alpha states, imprinting your goal into your subconscious.
5. List all the ways you would act differently once you reach your goal. How would you operate your business differently, would your confidence change, would your lifestyle change?
6. Which of those things can you begin doing now?
7. Begin thinking about yourself as a successful business owner. This will shift your energy; your brain will change on a cellular level. Subconsciously you will begin looking for opportunities to help you reach your goal at a faster rate. Opportunities will begin to appear.
Thoughts become things. Choose to release yourself from the struggle, your resistance. Think like a successful entrepreneur. It changes your brain chemistry. Accelerate your progress based upon your focus. Your thoughts and actions becoming aligned with your goals is powerful.
Activity: List all the things which would be different once you achieve your business goal. Which of those things could you begin to do right now? Take the action steps to make that happen. Write a goal card on the new action steps you are taking, what they mean to your business and the results you will experience by taking action.

Discover Why You Need to Do Things Your Way
Decide to change your focus. In fact some things you have already heard before. I believe it is important to hear the nuggets over and over again. Pay attention. When you are ready to commit to your goal those insights will take on a different meaning. All of a sudden you will wake up, have an “ah-ha” moment and “get it.”
The answers have been there all along, but you were unable to see them until you were ready to play a different game. As you connect to the reason driving you to be better than average, to strive for the top, turning your dream into a reality, your perspective changes. You adopt a “no-excuses” approach to success.
Things you were unwilling to do before all of a sudden you become willing to do. You become comfortable with being uncomfortable. And yes, you will be stretched further than you thought possible. What was once impossible becomes possible. In fact, the most complex problems have the simplest solutions.
Are you ready? The first action for you to take is discovering your “why”. Figure out why you are committed to building your business in a BIG way. Understand the driving force motivating you even when everyone else is telling you to quit.
Connecting with your reason for excellence is crucial. Without it you will eventually give up, sabotage or claim it was not meant to happen as you imagined.
Search for your meaning, your big “why”. Embrace it.
The reason for committing to your goal, turning a dream into a reality, is not external. Doing this because someone else has a vision for you, seeing your potential is not a good enough reason. It is too shallow. Success does not happen when you are doing it for someone else and not for yourself. External motivators are excellent to get you started on the journey, but eventually you will change course and fail.
Look within. Figure out what drives you. What is it you want so badly you are willing to do anything necessary to be a winner? Determine your purpose. Connecting with your compelling reason is powerful. The secret becomes revealed to you. This one factor keeps you going no matter what. It is as if you don’t have a choice but to do exactly what you are doing. What were once excuses disappear. Connecting with your innermost desire unleashes your potential.
Know your purpose. Your purpose, the reason you are committed to being a success, is a powerful resource. No one can take it away from you, unless you allow them to. Meaning, strength and motivation are gained. It is an unstoppable force. You become driven to move forward even when everyone else has given up. Nothing else keeps you going for the long run. It is life-changing.
Do you have your BIG vision, but gets lost in the details of what needs to be done today? The day to day responsibilities distract you to the point where you don’t feel like you accomplished anything during the day. When you get really honest with yourself fear is holding you back. Fear of success is powerful, cunning and creates resistance. Once the fear becomes revealed and the reframed, the resistance melts away. And it is easy. Ready to go with the flow? Discover Your Reason to Excel Beyond the Norm
What goal have you set for yourself? How big is your vision? Do you daydream, seeing yourself having successfully reached your goal?
I have good news for you. If you can dream about being at the top, then it is possible. Really. No, I am not talking about hocus pocus or voodoo magic. What I am talking about is the power of your mind, your convictions. Determine how committed you are to doing anything necessary to turn your dream into a reality.
Setbacks happen. Things do not always go as planned. You feel like it is never going to happen. Maybe you get to a mile marker and then progress comes to a standstill. Viewing these as failures only keeps you stuck. You remain in a breakdown, becoming even more aware of all the things which are not working well. Fear, doubt, worry and overwhelm set in.
Adopt a new outlook. A breakdown always occurs prior to a breakthrough. Once you understand the process, the breakdown before the breakthrough, your perspective changes. Instead of losing confidence, begin to view this as one more challenge to overcome as you are taking steps toward building your business to the level of success you dream about. The breakdown tests your commitment to your vision.
Continue to take action, remaining connected to your vision. Assess your thoughts, values and actions aligning them with your goal. Next will be the breakthrough. Breakthroughs are powerful. With conviction, intention and faith you can make the jump to the next level of success in your business taking you one step closer to your ideal goal.
Entrepreneurs get stopped right before a BIG breakthrough. They are unable to see how to make it all happen. Needing to be in control over everything is a game-stopper. When you are unable to see how to make it work, you give up. Progress comes to a complete halt.
Your ego craves control. It focuses on how you are going to reach your goal, demanding to know each step along the way. Ego feeds off this information.
Ego is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It appears to be based upon logic, the desire to know how something is going to happen. Details, details, details.
Too much control actually holds you back, preventing you from taking big leaps toward success. Becoming bogged down in the details delays taking decisive action. Ego is fear-based. Although it appears logical to have all the action steps available to you right now, it is not possible to know what the next step is until you have reached that point in time.
Your ego would rather stay within its comfort zone where everything is predictable. It is a very safe place to be. This mindset, however, will keep you stuck, resisting change. Reaching your goal will become a struggle. Remaining within a struggle affects your progress. Moving up to the top of your game, being a rising star, becomes very, very difficult.
If this sounds familiar, then there is good news for you.
The opposite of fear is trust. Yes, there is a time and place for thinking things through, developing a game plan and strategy. Results, however, are due to taking inspired action.
Activity: Consider all the options available to you right now. List them all. Identify the action steps you can take right now. Choose ones which take the least amount of effort and will give you the fastest results. Don’t think it through too much. Go with your gut feeling. Trust your instinct to tell you which next steps to take.
The Art of Successful Business Relationships – Part 1
Unless you are an island to yourself, so much of life has to do with relationships. Consider your relationships, personally, professionally and spiritually. If you were to rate the support you receive from the people in your life between zero to ten, with ten being exceptional support and zero having no support whatsoever, how would you rate your relationships?
Whether you admit it, or not, the people in your life affect your success. Spending time around people who drain you, get you angry or discourage you from reaching your dreams, has a significant impact on your focus. You delay taking those next important steps toward your success. By seeing yourself through other people’s eyes, your own vision becomes blurred.
Judgment is something most people don’t want to admit they do, but they do it anyway. Often we are our own worst critic. It is never any fun when you are on the receiving end, particularly criticism.
These five relationship steps will boost your self confidence and reduce your stress.
Who are you taking care of?
When you are with your clients, your family or friends who are you taking care of? If you constantly put your needs aside because you want to make other people happy, you are not being in integrity. Of course it is acceptable to do that sometimes, but when it happens all the time that is a red flag.
You are a unique, valuable individual. You are not going to be in full agreement with everyone at all times. Occasionally it is acceptable to do things your way. Give yourself permission to ask for what you need. It is extremely empowering to stand up for the things which are important for you.
Are you a giver, a taker or a supporter?
It is easy to recognize someone who is a giver and those who are takers. Givers are solely focused on what is in the best interest of the other person. Takers always wonder “what is in it for me.”
If you truly want healthy, balanced relationships in your business and your personal life then cultivate relationships with some supporters. This is very different from givers.
You see givers tend to help others. As a result they do other people’s work, take on someone else’s responsibility and feel they are doing the right thing. In a way they are being helpful, but there is a price to pay for being a giver.
Giver’s like to receive praise and acknowledgement for being helpful. They crave other people reflecting back to them that they are important. They require praise to validate their self worth. Of course most people like praise. Giver’s, however, need it because it fills a void due to low self esteem.
By the way when you are always helping and rescuing others, you are not really being helpful. When you end up doing someone else’s work, you are teaching them to be reliant on you. This prevents the other person from learning about personal responsibility.
People who are supporters, on the other hand, do not rescue. The supporter provides guidance as well as encouragement but they do not end up doing other people’s work. Supporters recognize the benefit of someone receiving consequences based upon their actions. They value personal responsibility.
Being a supporter is a difficult position when you observe someone fail because of poor choices, inaction or shortcuts. There is so much to be learned from mistakes; the lessons are invaluable. Supporters acknowledge the consequence, see what insight can be gained and respect the other person’s pain. Creating a safe space for someone else to land when they have failed is priceless.
You will be more helpful to the people in your business and your life when you support them along the way rather than do the work for them.
Do you find you tend to do too much for everyone else and there is very little energy left at the end of the day for you? Although you have set business goals, they often get overlooked because they don’t pay the bills. How many other times have you done something similar in your life, putting your needs aside in order to care for someone else? Well, all that can change. Choose Your Focus for Business Success
Do you live in the past, the present or the future? Might sound like an odd question, but the majority of people, entrepreneurs included, rarely are in the present. There is so much that goes on in your daily life, whether someone wants something from you, planning to take care of the things on your to-do list, or changing a part of your business for improved results. Thoughts will stray to something which already occurred or something about to happen. When your thoughts are either in the past or considering the future, you are not in the present.
You might wonder how that is so? Consider how often you are driving on the highway, it is a route you take all the time. You finally arrive at your exit but you can’t really remember the drive to get there. Or think about when you take a shower. You wash yourself in the same order each and every time. It is familiar and rote. You don’t realize you are doing it. Instead your mind is wondering to something else. It is easy to distract ourselves from the here and now.
These are some of the many instances where you check out during your day. You couldn’t possibly attend to everything happening during the course of the day. You would become overwhelmed, shut down and unable to act on anything.
In order to juggle everything on your plate, you might have started multi-tasking. It seemed like a great solution, trying to do several things at one time. In fact as women, we have been encouraged to multi-task for centuries.
Think about doing the laundry, cooking dinner and juggling a baby on your hips. Women have been doing that for generations, running a household. Doing so many things at one time is distracting. Your mind is always racing to balance all the tasks at one time.
Our brains are wired to manage the home while men were out hunting and gathering. Their purpose was to only focus on two things. Catching food and staying alive in the process.
Unfortunately, we continue to try multi-tasking even though research has shown multi-tasking is not effective. It actually takes longer to get more accomplished this way than you might think.
When you break concentration by jumping from one task to another it takes your brain about 15 minutes to pick up where you left off. I have noticed where I will be writing something and the words are flowing through me. Then I am interrupted by a phone call or someone asking me a question. When I return to my project, the train of thought was gone and I am now trying to spend time recouping that flow.
If you have been secretly feeling this way as well, then you can now relax and let out a sigh of relief. Give yourself permission to stopping all multi-tasking. It only leads to information overload, you are not present as you are trying to remember what is the next thing you ought to be focusing on and it is time consuming.
Set a goal to only work on one project at a time. Stick with your one project until completion or you have reached a pre-determined stopping point. Once that is done then go onto your next project for the day.
You will have more focus, create a flow with your work and accomplish more in the course of a day. For your business to grow set multi-tasking aside, making it a thing of the past. Not only will you get more done focusing on one project at a time, you will be more present focused as well. Wouldn’t it be nice reflecting on what you did during the day and you could actually remember it in vivid detail?
Sometimes there can be so many things you are trying to do at one time that it becomes overwhelming. Several projects are occurring at one time, but they don’t seem to get done as planned. One of the secrets I have been sharing with my clients is if there is a struggle on the outside then there is a struggle on the inside as well. Before you see the results from your hard work pay off, the inner conflicts need to be cleared. The more you clear, the more you will manifest success. I have seen this happen over and over again. The best part is it does not have to be difficult, painful or a long drawn out process. Once you take this step you will feel lighter, like a weight has been lifted. Think about how things would be different if the inner struggle dissolved. Contact Loren for a F.R.E.E. Purpose to Prosperity Consultation at info@mindsetformarketingsuccess.com
From Start-up to Success
Over and over again I see small business owners become overwhelmed working in their business. They don’t even realize they ought to be working on their business in order to experience growth. Many entrepreneurs believe in the Field of Dreams, build it and they will come. Well, that does not work.
For you to succeed as a small business owner, know your Unique Selling
Proposition (USP). What separates you from all the other similar businesses? What value do you bring to your clients? What problems do you solve? Who is your market? (it is not everyone).
Once you become clear on those answers then create a business plan and a marketing plan. If you are just starting up, the truth is you ought to be doing lots of marketing spending about 4 hours daily connecting with other people. Consider yourself a marketer first which then allows you to provide your service to your clients. As mentioned previously, the goal is to be working on your business as well as in your business for growth and prosperity.
Most small businesses fail within the first two years. What helped your business go from start-up to growth? Share the wealth, passing forward a key to your success.
